I enjoy very much working with public spaces, where art can meet the people visiting the specific place. I most often work with blown glass and sand-cast glass reliefs that may be both free-hanging works or permanent installations on walls, for both indoors and outdoors environmnets. Lately I have also started working with clay again, as I have a past as a ceramist.

AFFÄRSVERKEN, 2025
The artwork is inspired by Karlskrona’s unique coastal landscape and the city’s close relationship with the sea. Through the transparency of the glass and the light-refracting prisms, reflections are created that evoke the movement of the water’s surface, the shifting character of the sea breeze, and the archipelago’s chain of islands. The installation seeks to capture and celebrate Karlskrona’s identity — a city that has always been shaped by the sea, the wind, and the vast expanses of its archipelago landscape.

RÖDEBY ACTIVITY CENTRE, KARLSKONA KOMMUN, 2024

With this artwork, I wanted to create opportunities for communication and participation among the people attending the day activity centre. This was achieved by inviting the participants themselves to collect natural objects such as sticks, stones, leaves, and seashells, as well as other items that could symbolize each individual’s personal treasure, for example their favourite animal. Using these collected objects and ideas, I created glass casts and attached them to the concrete sculpture as small personal treasures, surrounded by gold-coloured crystal mosaic. Visitors walk through a rainbow landscape of shimmering glass leading down to the treasure, which serves as a natural gathering place for the participants.

KARLSKRONA LASARETT, IVA, 2024
A calm and restful divider separating the dishwashing area from the corridor in the ICU ward. Leaf formations created using the glass fusing technique, featuring reliefs and patterns in glass paint. The glass leaves are framed in laser-cut iron structures.

PRIVATE ORDER/BOOKING OF A CHANDELIER, 2020
A private customer contacted me for the making of a large chandelier for the customer’s living room. I wanted to create the feeling of a modernized chandelier as I blew 400 colored and transparent optic balls which were thereafter pierced through in both ends. I had the skeleton made in non-corrosive brushed steel and I chose led lighting at the top and at the bottom in the middle ring of the chandelier.

ROSENHILL FÖRSKOLA, KARLSKRONA KOMMUN, 2020
I won a competition for the adornment of a wall in a dining hall and a stairwell for the preschool Rosenhill in Lyckeby. Here I chose to work with the imprints of nature by giving shape to a summer meadow in the dining hall and the depth of the sea in the stairwell. I produced glass mosaic in fusing, sand-casting and I blew certain details on free hand. The children were integrated in the creative process by making their own imprints in clay out of branches, stones and shells that they had picked. The children also came to the glassworks during one paft of the manufacturing process to see how the warm glass was given shape in the sand.

NÄTTRABY CHURCH, COMMISSIONER NÄTTRABY CHURCH, 2019
I was entrusted with the making of the altar cross and baptism drops for Nättraby Church. Shortly thereafter I also made the adornment for the porch of the church where I created ”Angel wings” in the rainbow’s all colors. I worked with warm glass which I thereafter fused together. The wings symbolize the welcoming openness of the church. While working with this project I was in close dialogue with vicar Maria Therese Ingridsson.

TORSÅS MUNICIPALITY HALL, COMMISSIONER TORSÅS MUNICIPALITY, 2018.
My proposal won the commission for the adornment of the entrance to the Torsås municipality hall. Torsås municipality stretches from the sea and its beautiful coast up to the forests of Småland. I therefore chose to give the sea the form of a boat in rusty corten steel with masts of optic-shaped glass formations. In the window hangs a glassmobile in green nuances which symbolizes all the variations of the forest.

COMMISSIONER JÄMSHÖG PARISH, 2012
After having made ”Tree of Life” for the parish house, the church council asked me to make an altar cross with pertaining candlesticks and also a sanctuary cross which was places in the church vestry. The altar cross is made of cast glass blocks with brass details and Christ is made of sand-cast glass. In 2016 I also made the cross and candlesticks of the small chapel.

HABILITATION UNIT KARLSKRONA, COMMISSIONER BLEKINGE COUNTY COUNCIL, 2008
The Habilitation unit in Karlskrona commissioned me to adorn their waiting room. Parents come here with their children for investigation and treatment. I wanted to create a brightly colored experience in the vacant space that connects the waiting room with the entrance. I blew shapes in the rainbow’s all colors. I also made six sculptures in a corridor, naming them Seed Cases.

COMMISSIONER, AMIRALITET CHURCH IN KARLSKRONA, 2008.
After having made a Thanksgiving bowl for the Amiralitet parish in 2003, the Church Council engaged me again to make a cross with two pertaining candlesticks for the vestry of the church. I chose to work with blue nuances as it is a church strongly characterized by a marine town. I cast glass blocks which I thereafter fastened to a non-corrosive frame and I made two pertaining candlesticks with bubbles of air.

COMMISSIONER JÄMSHÖG PARISH, 2007
Petrusgården [St. Peter courtyard] is the parish house of the church. In connection with the rebuilding, the parish engaged me for an artistic adornment in the Malmberg hall. Here I chose to work with leaded glass that forms a ”Tree of Life” with a pertaining big bowl blown on free hand in which you can make flower arrangements or light floating candles on special occasions.

COMMISSIONER, TANT GRÖN, 2007
The independent school Tant Grön commissioned me to make a welcoming entrance for the youngest children at the school. I chose to do two fruit skewers, similar to the ones that Baloo juggles in The Jungle Book. They consist of differently colored glass forms blown on free hand with pinched glass, standing on concrete foundations that have been tiled with glass mosaic produced by me. Playfulness and recognition characterize this creation.
