GLASSWORKS & CERAMICS STUDIO

Since 2006, Malin Mena has run her studio glassworks in a converted 1950s water tower, beautifully located in Nättraby, just outside Karlskrona in Blekinge. In recent years, she has returned to clay—the material that once sparked her artistic journey. Her unique creations are available for purchase in the shop, which is located directly adjacent to the glassworks and ceramics studio. Here, she also offers courses, hosts glassblowing events, and works on public art commissions.

Public Art

Throughout her professional career, Malin has continuously worked with artistic public installations in which glass and clay meet in dialogue. Through the contrast and interplay between these materials, she creates expressions that reflect both the inner landscape of a place and that of the people who inhabit it.

Functional objects & Sculpture

Malin is a trained glassblower, ceramicist, and artist. She sells her work in her own boutique and online shop. She also works with sculpture and regularly exhibits her pieces. Through both glass and clay, she explores the expression of the materials and the intersection between the functional and the artistic.
